Quality Talent Group's client is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to support mining and processing equipment on-site. The role involves preventing breakdowns, performing repairs, and maintaining tools and parts to keep facilities operational.

The position requires a high school diploma and basic mechanical skills, with preferred experience in operating heavy equipment such as skid-steer or man-lift. This is a full-time on-site opportunity in Parker, Colorado.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use (clean-shaven for proper fit).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
