Quality Talent Group is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician to support mining and processing equipment readiness across North America. This is an on-site, entry-level role focused on keeping equipment in operation and performing routine maintenance.

The position requires basic mechanical skills, welding ability, and the discipline to follow safety policies. You will assist with parts inventory, documentation, and timely reporting while collaborating with supervision to address repairs

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use (clean-shaven for proper fit)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies
• Complete required reports and documentation on time
