Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician to support mining and processing equipment in Colorado. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep plant operations running smoothly.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, familiarity with tools, and the ability to follow PPE requirements. Swing shift work is expected with opportunities to develop hands-on experience and grow within the role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use (clean-shaven for proper fit).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
