Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to support mining and processing equipment in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and operating in a safe, compliant manner.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with hands-on mechanical aptitude, basic welding skills, and the ability to follow PPE requirements. This is a swing shift position with opportunities for growth within a large industrial network.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments is required.
• Basic welding (stick/arc) and light fabrication skills are preferred.
• Ability to operate basic computer systems and follow PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance according to manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.

Our client is hiring a Mid - Senior Maintenance Technician (Swing Shift) responsible for maintaining mining and processing equipment in a ready and operational state.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use (clean-shaven for proper fit)
