Job summary

The Car Park in Boise, ID is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician to join our downtown parking facilities team. You will handle routine maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs across multiple decks and lots, taking ownership of your area.

Requirements include 1+ year of manual labor or related work, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather. We offer a supportive team and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manual labor, maintenance, janitorial, or grounds work.
• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, pressure wash, and clean parking decks and surfaces (year-round).
• Operate maintenance equipment: sweepers, pressure washers, gas blowers.
• Empty trash, remove debris, basic cleanup.
• Paint lines, poles, signage as directed.
• Winter: snow/ice removal.
• Inspect gates, barriers, and access equipment; report issues.
• Basic repairs: replace damaged hardware, light bulbs, fixtures.
• Help with barrier and gate arm repairs.
• Keep maintenance logs.
