Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Olive Branch facility to perform routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems. A high school diploma or GED is required, with demonstrated mechanical aptitude or related technical training considered favorably.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with minimum skill requirements.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or two years of FedEx Operations Sortation equipment knowledge will be considered or currently enrolled in a certificate or degree program for Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics or related discipline
• Related military technical experience and electrical or mechanical trade experience will be considered

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and possibly power tools to maintain and repair equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical or electrical issues and perform repairs as needed
