Job summary

FedEx is seeking an experienced Fleet Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. You will document work and manage inventory using FedEx computer systems, ensuring OSHA/DOT compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, plus automotive vocational training; ASE Master certification is a plus. They will guide technicians and operate in a safety-conscious, team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; automotive vocational training preferred.
• Four years of fleet/automotive or truck repair experience.
• ASE Master certification preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, gasoline, diesel, electric, and hybrid systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and documentation for FedEx fleet and ground equipment.
• Mentor technicians and trainees; maintain inventory in FedEx systems.
• Ensure work complies with OSHA and DOT standards; communicate with safety officials.
