Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to provide timely and quality maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleets and ground support equipment. You will document work, manage inventory in FedEx systems, and ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT standards while guiding technicians and trainees.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; vocational automotive training preferred.
  • Four years fleet/automotive repair experience; welding and basic DC electrical troubleshooting preferred.
  • Knowledge of using testing equipment, gauges, and tools for hydraulic, gasoline, diesel, electric, or hybrid systems.
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, quality maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
  • Document work and maintain adequate inventory using FedEx computer systems.
  • Ensure work complies with OSHA and DOT standards.
  • Guide and support a staff of technicians and trainees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
