Job summary

United States Cold Storage Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Wilmington, IL facility.

You will support the maintenance and engineering team, perform painting, equipment inspection, battery maintenance, and preventive tasks to ensure safe, reliable operations in a cold environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, basic hand and power tool knowledge, and prior maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general hand and power tools.
• Experience with preventative maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to the maintenance department and maintain operations.
• Paint tasks including at heights and in cold environments.
• Maintain and replace forklift batteries and perform routine inspections.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and inspect safety equipment.
• Document maintenance activities and complete work orders.
• Support emergency response efforts as required.
