UFP Industries in Grandview, TX is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician / Fabricator to maintain, repair, and install equipment, machinery, and facilities under direct supervision. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

You will read basic machine schematics, perform preventative maintenance, operate a variety of tools, and assist with special projects. Valid driver’s license and a willingness to learn are required.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in maintenance/repair of industrial equipment preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Ability to use hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, presses, cordless drills, clamps, and small tools safely.
• Ability to read basic machine schematics with little guidance.
• Familiarity with measuring equipment and troubleshooting tools.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine preventative maintenance as assigned by a supervisor.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Follow OSHA requirements and maintain safety awareness in daily activities.
• Practice lock-out/tag-out procedures and general machine safety.
• Share information with the supervisor and team in an understandable manner.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills.
• Read and interpret basic machine schematics.
• Organize parts and materials efficiently.
• Lift/move materials up to 50 lbs; operate safely with available tools.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure overall success.
• Other duties as assigned.
