Job summary

Simmons Pet Food Inc. in Emporia, Kansas seeks a Maintenance Electrician to keep packaging and process machinery running safely and efficiently.

You will troubleshoot, perform PM, read technical docs, and report to the Maintenance Supervisor; strong English communication and 2–3 years of industrial electrical maintenance preferred.

This on-site, full-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to a food manufacturing environment and work with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of industrial maintenance electrical experience.
• Knowledge of Electrical Code and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and continuously improve packaging and process machinery and systems.
• Eliminate breakdowns; troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems.
• Prepare work orders using CMMS.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) of site equipment and support PdM.
• Read and understand technical bulletins, manuals, and blueprints.
• Report daily work summaries to Maintenance Supervisor/Manager and coordinate with the maintenance team.
