Schaeffler Group USA Inc. is seeking a machine operator in Cheraw, SC to set up and run operating machines, verify first checks, and support ramp-up with operators. The role involves following procedures, maintaining records, and ensuring product quality.

Responsibilities include assisting maintenance to prevent downtime, inspecting components, and complying with PPE and safety rules. Eligible applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read measurements and identify defects.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must be able to operate basic machinery and lift medium-heavy objects.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up operating machines including first checks and test sequences.
• Oversee ramp up of machines after setup and support Operators in operating the machines.
• Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines.
• Follow documented procedures and maintain accurate records and tracking.
• Check finished product/product component and submits for approval.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times
