Wood-Mizer in Batesville, IN is seeking a Machine Operator I to fabricate parts, set up and operate machines, read prints, inspect parts, and maintain quality in our manufacturing facility. The position requires 1–3 years manufacturing experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• High School Diploma.
• General math knowledge.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate any assigned machine in manufacturing area.
• Read blueprint and fabricate part per print specifications.
• Inspect own production frequently using proper gauges or measuring instrument.
• Clean work area daily.
• Train other employees.
• Lift 50 lbs. to waist.
• Ability to retain learned knowledge.
• Stand 8 to 10 hours each day.
