Wood-Mizer in Batesville, IN is seeking a Machine Operator I to fabricate parts, set up and operate machines, read prints, inspect parts, and maintain quality in our manufacturing facility. JOB SUMMARY

The Machine Operator fabricates parts by positioning or aligning workpieces against stops and guides or with dies; operating equipment; observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls; and replacing dies. This role is an important role in the construction of our portal saw mills and industrial equipment.
