Job summary

Custom Pipe & Fabrication Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator I to ensure on-time, quality parts for customers. The role requires understanding of the machines, adherence to safety, and basic maintenance tasks. Training provided to prepare for daily duties.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift and stand for long periods, and be willing to work shifts that may include overtime. Pre-employment drug testing and U.S. work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Adequate work experience may be substituted in lieu of diploma or GED.
• Willingness to follow written or oral work instructions and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be willing to learn and improve to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Start and stop the machine safely without supervision.
• Place unfinished parts and remove finished parts from machine safely.
• Monitor machine operation.
• Check part quality with designated measurement instruments.
• Record machine actions and log completed parts for record keeping.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
