Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Machine Operator I in New Hampshire to handle deburring, buffing, sanding, and tumbling operations.

You will work independently or in teams, finishing mechanical parts, engraving serial numbers, and operating laser equipment to meet output rates for various processes. Responsibilities include bead blasting, coating preparation, 5S workplace organization, and adherence to EH&S requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Entry-level position: ability to perform at least 3 of 5 tasks: assembly, goff, tumble, bead blast, basic surface prep operations.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must read and follow required paperwork including routers, work instructions, and control plans.
• Basic knowledge of gauging.
• Basic knowledge and ability to deburr.

Responsibilities

• Use gauging to confirm proper characteristics.
• Participate in root cause analysis activities.
• Bead and sand blast.
• Under supervision, operate automated and manual equipment and chemicals for cleaning, coating, and finishing processes.
• Use laser engravers to engrave non-serialized products.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Maintain 5S workplace organization and sustainment.
• Attend on-site daily; overtime or alternate shifts may be required.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
