Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) in Madison, TN is seeking an Entry-Level Lube Technician. You’ll join a friendly team and perform preventative maintenance while delivering excellent customer service. No automotive experience is required thanks to our award-winning training program.

You’ll learn oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, battery tests, lights and wipers, and safety inspections, with a clear path to advance within 18–24 months.

Qualifications

• Hands-on training with potential to become a Service Center Manager within 18–24 months.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Schedule flexibility with weekend availability; no late nights or holidays.

Responsabilités

• Provide top-tier customer service while performing preventative maintenance.
• Change oil, check/refill fluids, rotate tires, inspect battery, and test components.
• Complete 18-point safety check and other maintenance services as trained.

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)
• An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer‑focused team
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
• We expect you can:
• Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
• Be comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment
