Job summary

Valvoline is seeking an Entry-Level Lube Technician at our Woodburn, OR location. You’ll perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, battery tests and light inspections, with hands-on training and a team-focused environment.

No automotive experience is required — our award-winning training will teach you quickly and set you on a path toward a Service Center Manager role within 18–24 months, with strong growth potential and supportive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Change oil and check and refill fluids.

Your road to VIOC doesn’t require previous automotive experience. Through our award‑winning training program, we’ll teach you how to:

• Change oil
• Check and refill fluids
• Rotate tires
• Test and replace batteries
• Inspect and replace lights and wipers
• Perform an 18-point maintenance check
• And other preventive maintenance services

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)
• An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer‑focused team
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
• We expect you can:
  Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
  Be comfortable working in a non‑climate-controlled environment
