Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) Coos Bay location invites entry-level candidates for a Lube Technician role. You'll join a friendly team and learn to perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, battery tests, and light inspections.

No previous automotive experience is required as our award-winning training program will coach you to success. Expect supportive benefits, 16.50/hour with weekly pay, and opportunities to advance within 18–24 months as a Service Center Manager.

Qualifications

• Schedule flexibility with weekend availability.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a customer-focused team.
• Ability to review and understand training materials, safety procedures, and instructions.
• English reading, writing and speaking fluency.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Crouch, bend, twist and work with hands overhead.
• Comfortable in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier customer service while performing preventive maintenance.
• Change oil, check and refill fluids, rotate tires, test and replace batteries.
• Inspect and replace lights and wipers, perform an 18-point maintenance check.

Your road to VIOC doesn’t require previous automotive experience. Through our award-winning training program, we’ll teach you how to:

• And other preventive maintenance services

QUALIFICATIONS: What you’ll need to keep moving forward
