Valvoline Instant Oil Change Caldwell is seeking an Entry-Level Lube Technician. You’ll join a friendly, team‑oriented crew and deliver top‑tier customer service while performing preventative maintenance on customers’ vehicles.

No automotive experience is required; our award‑winning training program will teach you the skills you need. This role supports a stable schedule and opportunities for growth, including potential advancement to a Service Center Manager within 18–24 months.

Qualifications

• From day one, you’ll get hands‑on training and support to thrive as a Lube Technician.
• All you need is a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a desire to learn—our team will help you every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Check and refill fluids as needed.
• Rotate tires and inspect batteries.
• Inspect and replace lights and wipers.
• Perform an 18‑point maintenance check.
• Assist with other preventive maintenance services as required.

Together, we’ll help keep our guests safe on the road by providing top‑tier customer service, while performing preventative maintenance services for their vehicles.

Your road to VIOC doesn’t require previous automotive experience. Through our award‑winning training program, we’ll teach you how to:

• Change oil
• Check and refill fluids
• Rotate tires
• Test and replace batteries
• Inspect and replace lights and wipers
• Perform an 18‑point maintenance check
• And other preventive maintenance services

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)
• An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer‑focused team
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking

We expect you can:

• Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
• Be comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment
