Job summary

Next Level Technician in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an entry-level Low Voltage Technician. You will assist with pulling, terminating, labeling CAT5e/CAT6 cables and learn to test cable with Fluke testers, with on-the-job training provided.

No extensive experience required; compensation $18–$20 per hour with weekly pay, benefits, PTO, and opportunities to advance through hands-on training and potential certification programs.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of low voltage or construction experience
• Interest in structured cabling, telecom, or security systems
• Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment
• Basic hand tools and PPE preferred (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)

Responsibilities

• Assist with pulling, terminating, dressing, and labeling CAT5e/CAT6 cable
• Learn to test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
• Support punch-down of voice and data jacks
• Help install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Read and interpret basic blueprints/system layouts (training provided)
• Assist with installation of access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems
