Job summary

Next Level Technician in Memphis, TN is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to install and certify low-voltage systems including CAT5e/CAT6 and fiber optics. Expect to pull, terminate, dress, and label cables, test with Fluke testers, and install racks and patch panels.

Travel to nearby sites may be required. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of low-voltage experience and familiarity with brands like Leviton, Belden, and Panduit; certifications such as BICSI, FOA, or OSHA are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial/industrial low voltage experience required.
• Experience with brands like Leviton, Superior Essex, General Cable, Belden, CommScope and Panduit is preferred.
• OSHA, BICSI, Lift certifications are a plus.

Join Next Level Technician as a Low Voltage Technician in Memphis, TN! Earn $22–$24/hr., enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader. We are hiring ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable, and fiber optic cabling
• Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
• Punch down voice and data jacks
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts
• Experience terminating and installing RJ45, coaxial, and fiber optic connectors

Requirements

• 2+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience
• Experience working with manufacturers such as Leviton, Superior Essex, General Cable, Belden, CommScope, and Panduit
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment
• Experience with OTDR, power meter, and fiber test equipment
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
• Manufacturer or FOA (Fiber Optic Association) certifications a plus
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Willingness to travel to job sites within Memphis, TN, and the surrounding areas as needed
