Job summary

Next Level Technician is hiring an Entry Level Data Center Technician in Reno, NV. The role provides hands-on training, with weekly pay and benefits, to help you build a foundation in low-voltage cabling and data center tasks.

Responsibilities include installing and testing CAT5e/CAT6 cabling, data/voice jack work, and assisting with access control and CCTV systems, with training provided and growth opportunities across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of low voltage or construction experience.
• Interest in structured cabling, telecom, or security systems.
• Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pulling, terminating, dressing, and labeling CAT5e/CAT6 cable.
• Learn to test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers).
• Support punch-down of voice and data jacks.
• Help install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints/system layouts (training provided).
• Assist with installation of access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems.
