IMC Logistics in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an entry-level Dispatcher to plan daily and weekly driver schedules and maximize freight coverage. You will communicate with drivers and coordinate across IMC locations to ensure on-time delivery and efficient operations.

This role involves training and covers routing, paperwork, payroll-related tasks, and driver support. Strong organization, communication, and knowledge of DOT regulations are required.

Qualificações

• Data entry skills and strong communication and organizational abilities are required.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and hazardous materials handling is essential.
• Knowledge of hours of service (HOS) procedures and dispatching across major ramps is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Plan daily/weekly driver schedules to maximize freight coverage and minimize costs.
• Communicate appointment dates/times to owner operators and/or fleet; coordinate between IMC locations.
• Assist drivers with equipment issues, detention time, rail billing, and other requests.
• Maintain dispatch records and complete lines of dispatching from driver paperwork.
• Handle driver service failures and coordinate with managers for resolutions.
• Track yard reports and participate in driver recruiting and retention.
• Process payroll-related tasks and oversee HOS/ELD updates.
• Oversee Rail/Port pins, reservations, and related tasks.
• Operate with urgency in challenging environments and perform additional duties as assigned.
