Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with high and low voltage electricity, e.g. automotive, electrician, alarm, lineman.
• Experience with plumbing, HVAC, sprinkler systems, and compressed air lines.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble locomotives units and components from blueprints/diagrams.
• Finalize high/low voltage connections inside/outside locomotive.
• Install piping with copper and stainless-steel connections.
• Install windshield and perform disassembly/rework as needed.
• Follow parts and wire lists; measure/cut pipes per specs.
