Responsibilities

• Analyzes borrower financial information, repayment capacity, collateral strength, and overall creditworthiness.
• Reviewing and validating appraisal reports for accuracy and adherence to established guidelines.
• Determining risk levels and approval recommendations.
• Applying underwriting standards consistently, identifying and mitigating potential risks, maintaining strong documentation practices, and partnering with lending, operations, and risk teams to support timely and high-quality credit decisions.
• Evaluates and approves or denies loan applications according to business unit standards in a timely manner.
• Gathers information as necessary to make sound decisions.
• Responds to internal and external customer inquiries as necessary.
• Performs other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and business unit.
