Atlantic Union Bank is seeking a Mortgage Underwriter in the Richmond, VA area to assess mortgage applications and property valuations. The Mortgage Underwriting & Appraisals area is responsible for evaluating mortgage applications and property valuations to ensure sound credit decisions, accurate risk assessment, and compliance with all regulatory and investor requirements. Activities may include:
The Mortgage Underwriting function is responsible for conducting a detailed credit analysis based on information furnished by the borrower, publicly available information, the lender's evaluation of the borrower's credit needs, and the ability to pay across a range of products against credit standards set by the organization. Mortgage Banking covers activities related to the origination and servicing of residential mortgage loans, including sales, underwriting, loan operations, secondary marketing, investor relations, and default. Other duties as assigned.

The salary range posted for this role is between $71,400.00 to $121,400.00 USD.
