Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Entry-Level Lighting/Electrical Engineer for our St Louis, Chicago, or Madison offices. You will create lighting-focused construction drawings using Revit, AutoCAD and Microstation in close coordination with architectural designers and roadway engineers.

You’ll create construction drawings with a focus on lighting design for various building and transportation projects in close coordination with architectural designers or roadway engineers using Revit, AutoCAD and Microstation software.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• US Citizenship is required

Ideally, you’ll also have

• EIT or FE credentials
• Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and/or Microstation
• Experience in construction plan preparation
• Experience with AGI32
• Experience working with roadway engineers, architects, interior designers engineers and lighting designers.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs

The base salary range for this position is $62,500.00 to $88,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
