Job summary

A high-profile law firm is seeking an entry level Intake Center Agent to be the first contact for individuals seeking representation. This Monday–Friday role is fast-paced, client-focused, and requires professionalism, empathy, and strong communication while handling a high volume of calls.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
• 1-2 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience preferred. This is entry level.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional, empathetic approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
• Excellent computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with legal terminology or case management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with prospective and existing clients.
• Gather and accurately document detailed client and case information.
• Pre-qualify potential clients based on established case criteria.
• Follow up with clients to obtain medical records and other required documentation.
• Enter and update information in the firm's case management system.
• Send legal documents and coordinate follow-up appointments and communications.
• Provide professional, compassionate customer service while handling sensitive information.
• Escalate complex questions or concerns to the appropriate legal team.
• Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
