Job summary

Caterpillar in San Diego, CA is seeking an entry-level Lean Facilitator to support Lean initiatives across design engineering, operations, and supply chain. You will help promote Lean, apply Six Sigma analytics, and assist in training programs while collaborating with Lean Advisors and diverse teams.

The role focuses on developing tools, dashboards, and continuous improvement efforts to meet quality and performance goals, with onsite work five days a week at Caterpillar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar is required.
• Strong organizational, coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to influence decisions and collaborate across teams.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma/Lean concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote Lean culture and develop customized Lean training programs.
• Assist in applying Six Sigma analytics to operations to meet goals.
• Support design and development of Six Sigma program strategies and dashboards.
• Help implement Sigma project portfolios for process improvements.
• Document meetings, deliverables, status, and next steps.
