Job summary

P3 Civil is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Land Surveying CAD Technician to support land surveying, land development, and site design projects. You will work with senior surveyors and engineers to develop practical skills in survey drafting, field data processing, and CAD workflows.

The role emphasizes learning AutoCAD Civil 3D, organizing survey data, and producing accurate CAD drawings while growing in a collaborative design team environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in land surveying, CAD drafting, geomatics, or civil engineering technology (plus).
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD; Civil 3D preferred.
• Familiarity with survey equipment or data processing is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand basic survey drawings and legal descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boundary and topographic surveys and related documents.
• Create and modify survey drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Process field data and incorporate into CAD drawings.
• Prepare plats, easement and ROW exhibits, and other surveys documents.
• Coordinate with field crews and engineers to clarify notes and data.
