Job summary

raSmith is seeking a Land Survey CAD Technician to join our Survey Services division. The role involves reviewing project files, analyzing field notes and plans, and preparing survey documents such as ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey and various plats. A related degree and 0–3+ years of experience are required.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D and Microsoft Office is expected. We offer a hybrid home/office environment with flexible schedules and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 0–3+ years of surveying experience.
• Knowledge of surveying methods and legal aspects of surveying required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D and Microsoft Office expected.

Responsibilities

• Review project files and carry out drafting tasks.
• Analyze field notes, legal descriptions, title easements, plans and layout notes.
• Prepare survey documents including ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey and plats.
• Develop understanding of surveying concepts and project integration.
• Other duties as assigned.
