Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Dayton, NJ, seeks a full-time Laboratory Assistant to perform basic lab techniques and equipment maintenance. The role involves handling glassware, sanitation, and general lab support, with a daytime schedule 7:00am–3:30pm and a pay rate of $20 per hour.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and learn new techniques while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic laboratory techniques
• Maintain/calibrate equipment
• Prepare/wash glassware
• Receipt of consumables and lab stocking
• Clean and maintain lab spaces and other duties as assigned.
• Working with animals
• Work with a variety of chemicals for sanitation of lab equipment
• Assessing racks thoroughly during sanitation process for any maintenance required
