Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in North Kingstown, RI, is hiring a Laboratory Technician I for full-time 2nd shift (1:30 pm – 10:00 pm). You will support lab operations, prepare samples, and maintain paperwork and lab areas. HS diploma required; chemistry coursework and basic lab experience preferred.

You will work with LIMS, handle samples, and ensure accurate labeling and safety. Competitive benefits and dedicated team environment offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High school Chemistry coursework preferred.
• Basic laboratory experience preferred.
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (deadlines).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (coolers with ice).
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performing sample preparation and related tasks (aliquoting, spiking, concentrating).
• Prepare reagents and bottle samples; manage concentrations and separations.
• Learn and use the LIMS system; ensure proper labeling of samples.
• Maintain logs, bench sheets, and general lab paperwork.
• Wash glassware and stock supplies; keep a clean, safe workspace.
