Vie-Del is seeking a Lab Technician to perform tests for quality control, process control and product development under supervision. The role is entry-level and based in California, with an emphasis on learning analytical methods and operating diverse lab instruments.

You will record results, prepare reports, and assist with environmental monitoring and sanitation. The position requires a relevant degree or equivalent lab experience and basic computer skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years experience in wine/food lab and related college work.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical material and regulations.
• Typing speed 40 words per minute or more and ten-key by touch.

Mansioni

• Perform laboratory tests for quality control, process control and product development.
• Calibrate and operate laboratory instruments (pH meter, spectrophotometer, GC, HPLC, etc.).
• Record test results and prepare graphs/charts; write test reports.
• Perform microbiological tests and environmental monitoring tests.
• Maintain lab sanitation and safety procedures; prepare chemical solutions.

Formazione

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Enology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field

Two years experience in wine or food lab and two years related college work
