Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an entry‑level Lab Technician I to support our testing operations. You will receive and log samples, prepare specimens, run tests from our menu, and record data that becomes the deliverable for customers.

This is an entry-level role with comprehensive training. You will work under the guidance of senior technicians and the Quality team, earning independent responsibilities as you prove competency and sign-offs are completed.

Qualifications

• Follow a written procedure exactly, every time.
• Produce complete, legible records under normal production workload.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail in measurements and observations.
• Collaborate effectively within a small team to meet objectives.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming samples with accuracy.
• Log work order data into the laboratory management system.
• Prepare test specimens per standard procedures.
• Perform tests per industry standards and customer specs under guidance.
• Document data clearly; report anomalies immediately.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment and keep areas clean and organized.
