Job summary

Onyxosp is seeking an entry-level Lab Technician I to support our testing operations. You will log samples, prepare specimens, run tests, and record data for customer deliverables. Training is provided, and advancement paths exist as you demonstrate competency and gain experience.

This position emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and following established procedures, with a rotating weekend shift and possible growth into higher technical roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to participate in rotating weekend shifts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift samples/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and verify samples against work orders.
• Prepare test specimens and stage samples by priority.
• Perform tests under guidance until competency is signed off.
• Record data accurately in worksheets and the LIMS.
• Keep work areas clean and maintain equipment after use.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
