• Candidates are sought with outstanding academic achievement, including an excellent law school record, high class ranking at top-tier law schools, strong references, and proven litigation and writing skills.
• Required experience includes interest in corporate and transactional matters, such as acquisitions, dispositions, and minority investments.
• The role offers an entrepreneurial culture with lean teams, a high degree of autonomy, primary front-line responsibility, and an expectation of an “ownership mentality.”
• There is a high potential for direct client contact, with no preconceived limitation, dependent on experience and client skills.
• The practice represents public and private companies, financial sponsors, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and family offices across a broad range of transactional assignments.
• The team also counsels boards of directors, independent board members, and special committees on fiduciary duties, governance matters, and federal and state securities laws.
• The practice focuses on projects involving complex or unique situations requiring significant creativity and bespoke solutions, operating with a low-leverage model to offer highly personalized client service.
• Clients are served across diverse industries including technology, media and entertainment, gaming, aerospace, financial services, energy, food and beverage, and fashion and retail.
