Job summary

Eland Engineering, a GAI Consultants company, is seeking two full-time ITS Technicians to perform a variety of tasks in central Florida. Responsibilities include installing cameras, detectors, fiber optic cabling, and related ITS field devices, and testing to ensure proper operation.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of related experience, a high school diploma, basic computer and networking skills, and a valid Driver's License; MOT certification and fiber optic fusion splicing are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience.
• High school diploma required (technical coursework preferred).
• Basic computer and networking skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment including cameras, detectors, controller cabinets and other ITS devices.
• Install and test electrical, data, and fiber optic cabling and related hardware.
• Connect conductors to equipment and power services; test devices and prepare logs of field activities.
