Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller is seeking an IT Systems Administrator Level I to join our Green Bay manufacturing support team. The role focuses on implementing and supporting enterprise server infrastructure including Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware ESX, Office 365, and Azure.

You will provide day-to-day maintenance, handle Level 2 IT Service Desk tasks, manage Exchange on-premises and Exchange Online, and work with security and network teams to strengthen our environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Windows Server and hypervisor knowledge.
• Experience with Azure AD and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud services.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Able to work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Critical thinking and decision-making required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day server OS and software support.
• Troubleshoot applications and OS issues.
• Document configurations and procedures for standardization.
• Deliver Level 2 IT Service Desk support.
• Administer Exchange on-premises and Exchange Online.
• Monitor alerts with SolarWinds.
• Install, configure, and decommission servers per lifecycle.
• Maintain Windows and Azure AD environments.
• Evaluate hardware and software compatibility and security.
• Collaborate with network and security teams to resolve issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
