Job summary

Securis is seeking an IT Asset Processing Technician I to join our Chantilly facility. This entry-level, hands-on role processes, tests, grades, and prepares used computers and electronics for resale, reuse, or recycling, supporting our ITAD operations.

The ideal candidate enjoys technology, is comfortable using basic hand tools, and is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, in-person at Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with computers, electronics, IT hardware, or related hands-on technical work is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and process incoming computers, laptops, servers, and electronic equipment.
• Test, wipe, and grade hardware according to company standards.
• Perform basic component harvesting, repairs, upgrades, and part replacements.
• Disassemble and reassemble desktops, laptops, and other electronics.
• Ensure data destruction compliance and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Pick, pack, and ship e-commerce orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow established procedures and quality standards while meeting daily productivity goals.
