Job summary

Green Electronic Solutions is hiring an ITAD Technician to securely process retired electronics, inspect, label, and prepare items for resale or redeployment. You'll perform data destruction, ensure devices are sanitized, and support environmentally responsible recycling in a hands-on warehouse role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers and electronic devices.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Asset Processing: Receive, inspect, sort, and label incoming electronic equipment.
• Data Security: Perform secure data destruction and ensure devices are sanitized.
• Testing & Refurbishment: Test, diagnose, perform basic repairs, prepare items for resale.
• Dismantling & Recycling: Safely dismantle equipment and follow environmental guidelines.
• Inventory & Documentation: Record asset info and maintain organized workstations.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA and safety policies; wear PPE; keep area hazard-free.
