Job summary

NGK Ceramics USA, Inc. is seeking an SSH Inspector I in Mooresville, NC to measure, weigh, visually inspect and package fired ceramic products. The role operates the ISO testing process to assess strength and quality according to customer specifications.

You will verify gauges, record data, assist with start-up and maintenance, and follow safety procedures. A high school diploma or GED and basic manufacturing experience are required; CRC Bronze or higher is a preferred certification.

Responsibilities

• Measures, weighs, visually inspects and packages fired ceramic products.
• Operates and monitors the ISO (Isostatic Testing) process for strength testing.
• Verifies gauges and dimensional characteristics with Calibration dates current.
• Records inspection data and inputs into company information systems.
• Performs start-up and troubleshooting for ISO testing machine.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and adheres to PPE requirements.
• Segregates non-conforming products per established instructions.
• Follows EMS procedures and participates in safety and maintenance programs.
