Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn to read specifications or blueprints to determine material quantities.
• Assist skilled craftsman to fabricate metal parts per blueprints or instructions.
• Assist with unloading and positioning prefabricated steel units for hoisting.
• Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of steel members using plumb bobs or lasers.
• Cuts, bends, or welds steel pieces using shears, torches, or welding equipment.
• Assemble hoisting equipment or riggings to move heavy equipment or materials.
