Job Description
If you’ve worked in restaurants, hotels, bars or retail, you already have most of what this job takes. You can read people quickly, stay calm when it’s busy, and make a recommendation without being pushy. Recommending the right home policy isn’t very different from recommending the item on the menu.
What’s different here is the schedule and where the job can take you. A stable base pay you can count on. A career with real income growth that doesn’t depend on how busy a Saturday night or holiday was.
No insurance experience needed. We’ll teach you everything.
How it works
- Get licensed on our dime. We contribute to your pre-licensing course and the P&C exam.
- Learn alongside an experienced agent. You’ll sit in on real calls, learn how coverage works, and start quoting with support.
- Work your own leads. Our office has multiple lead avenues that give you both face to face leads, as well as leads over the phone. You won’t be cold calling strangers. You’ll help people who already have raised their hand that they are interested in talking.
- Grow your income. Your base pay rises as you reach milestones, and commission and bonuses grow with what you write.
Why here
- You sell. Our service team handles the rest. Once a client is set up, our account managers take care of them.
- Modern tools. AgencyZoom, automation and AI handle the paperwork so you can focus on people.
- People still answer the phone. Clients choose us because they talk to a person, not a call center.
You’ll do well here if you:
- Like talking to people and can handle hearing “no”
- Follow through without being reminded
- Pick up new software quickly
- Want a career, not just another job
