AAA Auto Club Enterprises in Jefferson City, MO is seeking an entry-level Sales Agent Trainee. This role leads to a Sales Agent after training, and works in a District Office on sales, appointments, and inspections, in person and offsite as directed.

The trainee will promote club memberships and insurance products, provide information on member services, complete documentation carefully, and adhere to underwriting rules to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors-equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 1-3 years Insurance sales/service preferred.
• Oral and written communication skills required.
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Sell Insurance products utilizing fundamentals of SSC. Quote rates, qualify applicants, inspect vehicles or property and complete documentation with underwriting criteria.
• Sell Club memberships, promote Club services and products, and provide information on membership and insurance.
• Develop sales leads and contacts, manage time and information to achieve goals, and close opportunities with cross-sell where possible.
• Maintain an acceptable product balance and enhance member relationship by diversifying use of products and services.
• Ensure proper ratings are applied to new policies based on statements and underwriting guidelines, and provide service to Club members in person, by phone or via correspondence.
• Attend meetings, complete timecards and expense diaries, and adhere to duties as directed by management.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and provide leads to other departments as appropriate.
