Qualifications

• BS or MS in Industrial Hygiene or related field from an accredited university.
• Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of industrial hygiene principles, standards, regulations, instrumentation, and sampling methods.
• Computer skills for presentations, data management, and report preparation.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with IH monitoring and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and implementation of routine industrial hygiene activities.
• Provide IH input to Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Startup, Subcontracts, and other project groups.
• Interpret requirements and provide technical guidance regarding risk assessment, plan preparation, industrial hygiene requirements, and ES&H program execution.
• Identify regulatory requirements and prepare documentation and reports.
• Provide technical guidance for IH studies, risk and hazard assessments, and other safety and health reviews.
• Participate in emergency response and aid the investigation and resolution of health-related incidents.
• Identify ES&H stakeholders and resolve their concerns.
• Participate in meetings with customers, project team members, and contractors/subcontractors to advise them of IH requirements.
• Conduct inspections, sampling, and monitoring to evaluate ES&H performance and compliance.
• Assist in tracking ES&H performance and enter data in Bechtel's Industrial Hygiene Records System.
• Support other ES&H team members and tasks.
