Assignments may be located in field settings or offices across Bechtel's GBUs, with opportunities to contribute to projects that protect the environment and support safe operations.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in environmental sciences, biology or related field.
• Knowledge of environmental assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Computer skills for presentations, data management, and report preparation.
• Analytical skills related to sampling, monitoring, and recordkeeping.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental planning, permitting, design, and operations.
• Assist with development and implementation of environmental permits, plans, and studies.
• Support site assessments and mitigation strategies to protect the environment and communities.
• Provide ES&H guidance and risk assessment to project teams.
• Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans and related procedures.
• Help track environmental issues and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in training and ES&H program execution.
