Bechtel Corporation in the United States is seeking a University Hire in Industrial Hygiene to gain hands-on experience while working on environmental, safety, and health programs across Bechtel's global projects.

Competenze

• BS or MS in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, or related field.
• Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of industrial hygiene principles, standards, regulations, instrumentation, and sampling methods.
• Computer skills for preparing presentations, data management, and report preparation.
• Analytical skills related to sampling, monitoring, and recordkeeping.
• Experience teaching and training others.
• Valid driver’s license.

Mansioni

• Assist in the preparation and implementation of routine industrial hygiene activities including the project Safety and Health Management Plan and IH plans, procedures, methods, and training.
• Provide IH input to Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Startup, Subcontracts and other project groups to integrate requirements in planning and design.
• Interpret requirements and provide guidance on risk assessment, plan preparation, IH requirements, and ES&H program execution.
• Identify regulatory requirements and prepare documentation and reports.
• Provide technical guidance for IH studies, risk and hazard assessments, and other safety and health reviews.
• Participate in emergency response and assist in investigations of health-related incidents.
• Identify ES&H stakeholders and address concerns.
• Participate in meetings with customers, project teams, and contractors to discuss IH requirements.
• Conduct inspections, sampling, and monitoring to evaluate ES&H performance and ensure corrective actions.
• Track ES&H performance and enter data in Bechtel’s IH Records System.
• Support other ES&H team members and tasks.
