The Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks an engineer to join its Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Systems Development team. You will contribute to HWBB component development, testing, and integration across submarine and aircraft carrier fleets, coordinating with system owners, prime contractors, and Naval Reactors personnel.

Responsibilities include defining functional requirements, hands-on lab testing, and supporting plant design integration while delivering reliable I&C hardware solutions within

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Drive development, schedule, delivery and troubleshooting for HWBB components used in submarine and aircraft carrier fleets.
• Prepare and maintain functional requirements; perform hands-on laboratory testing.
• Collaborate with system owners, prime contractors, component vendors, and Naval Reactors personnel.
• Incorporate HWBB technology into plant designs and troubleshoot emergent issues.
